Serena Waddel

Interior Designer, NCIDQ

Serena grew up on the Monterey Peninsula surrounded by artists and the rugged natural beauty of the infamous coastline.  Living in Hawai’i for her college years, she has been spoiled and inspired by these stunning landscapes throughout her life.  From a young age, Serena understood how much one’s surroundings affect the people who inhabit them.  Naturally intuitive and thoughtful, interior design has allowed her to draw upon her past experiences to create beautiful spaces that reflect a project’s place and its people.

After earning degrees in English and Anthropology from the University of Hawai’i, she returned to school to pursue her Interior Design degree from Chaminade University.  Her experience spans all phases of design with a concentration on design conceptualization, space planning, and construction documentation.  An NCIDQ certified interior designer, her diverse projects have included multi-family and custom residential homes, civic and tenant improvement projects, fire stations, and luxury hotels.

When Serena’s not in the office, she can be found hanging out with her dog and husband in their garden, backpacking in the Sierras, or adventuring around town on her bike.
